AN UNUSUAL CASE.
, (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH. Feh. 5. A ease of an unusual nature __ was mentioned in the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Air Bailey, S.M.. when W. If. AVanklyn, secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club, was charged with permitting investments to be put on to the iolalisator after the time of starting a race. Ho was further charged with taking into account money put on the machine after the time for starting a race. On Air Donnelly’s application (for defendant) the case was adjourned until Friday.
