PHRENOLOGY.
TO THE EDITOU. Sir,—l notice an account in your estimable paper of in recent lecture < u the subjects of psychology, etc., given by Madame Reprah, in which she speaks of phrenology in depreciation. Alt though that worthy lady seema to ! possess many marvellous talents according to her advertised display, she has evidently omitted the knowledge of a sourco from which all poweri comes. Phrenology means "'{science of the mind." The skull is merely the ea.se em eloping the brain wherein the mind operates. A practical study of the science mii6t ii t-- t convince us that a Divine power rules and governs our complete organisation. It is a wonderful creation when we realise the brain in its thrcv divisions dominates 'the spiritual ami intellectual, the ingeniotib and acquisitive, the vita] heart system and motion. Temperament is the key to individual tastes and propensities, giving incentives or indication to, various studies and employments. If the temperament is assisted and cultivated in youth successes would b G n ore Humorous and failures less. Many people possess intentional gifts which embrace mind reading. Spirituality has its seal in the highest region of the brain close to the faculty of veneration, and the material life, the lowest, Thus arc the various faculties dispensed to each one of us, mental or practical.
