Triumpi during the racing season just past have seemed to many people too marvellous te be true, and a rumour is being circulated m explanation of these phenomenal per formances to the effect that the cylinder ot Mr Brown's Triumph has been re-bored thus increasing its power-developing cap acity. In reply we offer to pav over to the Belgian Relief Fund the sum of £IOC to any person, in the trade or out of it who can prove that tho machine used t>\ Mr Brown in all races this season was not of standard cylinder dimensions, viz.— 35 m.m. by 97 m.m., equalling 550 c.c.
