WHITTAKER LOSES HIS; LIFE;
(Per Pbkss Association.) AVCKLAND, March 17. A fatal accident occurred nt the Oliiiiomnri Jockey Club's meeting. Manuera 101 l in the Netheiton Welter and brought' down Sliplink. Both jockevci were rendered unconscious, and \Vhittaker sustained severe concussion ol the brain. UeFlynii'i-erovered, but "Whittnkor died at Paeioa railway station while waiting for the expiess to go to the Thames hospital.
