SALVATION ARMY.

There was a largo attendance at the Salvation Army Hall last night to witness tho annual prizo-giving in connection with tho Sunday School. ,- Thirteen pupils gained tho possible marks (936), namely:— Stolla Haywood, Annie Teaguo, G. Jonsen, Etlith Tcague; H. Rowlands, Lynch Cobb, Len Cobb,' E. Kilgour, C. Cobb, Maud Kilgour, Annio Kilgour, Graco Cobb, Basil Row-, lands. It is a noteworthy fact that no less than five of tho thirteen pupils live on an average Jivo miles from town. Cobb presented Adjutant Rowlands with an' autograph album on behalf of the Bible Class. Mr Rowlands, who has been connected with the children's work for some timo past, is giving it up for the treasurership of tho senior corps. During his term of office ho had been of great service to the Major in helping him' with tho junior band. Ho was a most efficient teacher, and as a result of his efforts seven have been transferred to the senior corps and band. For his great service in helping him Mr Cobb presented the Adjutant with a handsomely bound volume,
