SOCIAL AND DANCE.
The Oroua Lodge of Druids held their fin,al social for the 1909 season on Wednesday night, a large number of dancers being pfose7it, some eighty couples taking part, including visitors from Feilding. Wellington, and Dunedin. The hall was nicely decorated, the floor in tip-top condition for dancing, and the music as supplied.by Mr Hanley's orchestra left nothing to bo desired. Music for tho extras was supplied by Miss Wood (violin), Misses Primmer and Procter, and Mrs Ryan and Messrs TV. Donaldson and Bro. SiddelJs. Songs were rendered by Messrs Bow.iter and Bro. Clement and Misses Pycroft and Wood. Mr J. Donaldson danced, a •sailor's hornpipe. At a suitable break in the proceedings Bro. Pycroft, oil behalf of the Lodge, thanked all who had attended during the season, and announced that a similar session would be held next year. Tho supner provided by the committee was excellent. Tbo committee, Bros. Lynll, Pycroft, and Harriman. assisted by Bros. Cohb, Bright and Hancock, are to bo congratulated on the excellent night's amusement provided;;- also for the capable manner in which they have conducted the dances during the season.
