THE WRONG ROAD

A man named James Sutherland, a farmer, residing at Kelso, single, and about 40 years of age, rode into a dredging dam at Little WaikaKa last night and was drowned. It is thought lie mistook an old disused roatTand got into a dam before he was aware of his mistake. The body has been recovered. '
