POHANGINA. The annual sports held at Pohangina also attracted a big atendance, and the utmosr interest was evinced in the proceedings. Not only was the valley itself we!! represented, but visitors were present from Ashhurst, Feilding. and Palmersron. The sports were held in Messrs Russell Bros.' paddock, an excellent place for the purpose. Events filled well, and competition in nearly everv One was excellent, some of the finishes being most interesting. The sccrornry. Mi- Fisher, and members of <x>!r:;nit!re fill worked hard to promote the success of the gathering, and succeeded admirablv. Details are as follows : — Creamery Trot.—Ticchurst 1, F.
