The final rounds of the combined doubles on the Palmerston Tennis Club's courts were played on Saturday afternoon. In the semi-final G. D. Reed and Miss Porter (handicap 5) beat W. L. Fitzherbort and Miss Wylds (handicap 15) by 60 points to 56. 'The final was keonly contested, tho result being in favour of Reed and Miss Porter (5). who beat. W. H. Hankins and Miss 801 l (15) by 60 to 55. Miss Porter thus secures the trophy donated by Mr A. D. Thomson.
