' The Naval Court acquitted eighty-four out of 207 concerned in the 1 Eronstadt mutiny in November. A few received drastic sentences and the remainder moderate terms of imprisonment. AH the workmen's candidates for the preliminary Douma elections at Odessa have been arrested for displaying liberal tendencies. The authorities directed; the voters to elect reactionaries. '' The Chief of Police at Warsaw, and ten detectives, are undergoing trial for mercilessly torturing political offenders.
