Accidents and Fatalities.

A verdict of " accidental death, no blame being attachable to anyone," was returned in the ease of William Rippm, who was killed at Mr H. Coley's flaxmill, near Levin, on Friday. The evi. dence showed that demised was caught by the clothing in a shaft and whirled round, his head striking a plank, which was broken by the impact. At the time the accident occurred deceased was going to the part of the mil: where he worked, but unless he had a special purpose in view there was no need for him to go near the shaft. There were three other means of ingress and egress to and from the place where deceased worked, without going where he met with the accident.
