Getting away badly, but finishing with a great run, was beaten out of a place by a hca^ 3 , tho winner turning up in Williamson's Z ethos. Newcastle Cup.—-Gladsome 10.10 (top weight), 1; Chaperon 8.0, 2; Chronograph, 80, 3. Won easily by four lengths. Gladsome's owner. Sol Green, made a pot over the race. He bought a half.ticket in Tatt's No. 1 sweep for £200. LONDON. April 1. Kxora fell in the Grand National, and did not finish.
