NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS AND ACCEPTANCES Nominations for all races, excepting First Manawatu Stakes and Champion Hack Plate, close with the secretary at his office, Palmerston North, on Friday,/ March 10th, 1905, at 10 p.m. ■< Weights for First Day will be declared on or about Thursday, March 23rd, 1905. Acceptances for First Day, and final payment for First Manawatu Stakes and Champion Hack Plate, close with the secretary at his office, Palmerston North, on Monday, March 27th, 1905, at 10 p.m. Weights for the Second Day will be declared oh the night of the first day's races, about 8.45 p.m. Acceptances for Second Day close with the secretary at his office, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, April sth, 1905, at 10 p.m. CONDITIONS. AH Nominations and Entries shall be expressly subject to the following conditions :— 1. The races shall be run under "Tbe Rules of Racing," and subject to the right of appeal thereby conferred, the decision of a majority of the stewards with reference to every matter arising out of the racing shall be final and conclusive. 2. In the event of two or more horses the property of the same owner for racing purposes being engaged in any race, it shall be the duty of such owner to enable the stewards to bracket the said horses on the totalisator, to declare such ownership at least half an hour before starting, and such horses shall be bracketed accordingly. 4.
