Over 1000 entries lva^'e 136611 received for the Public Schools Amateur Athletic Association's sports, to be held in Palmerston on March 31st.
Campbell street easily heads the town entries, with a total of 140 for the running events, College street being second with 40, aiid Terrace End third with. 30. Thirty additional entries have been received from. Campbell street, making a total of 170 for the runjning events. Foxton has sent 53 entries, exclusive of teams. Thoi High -School 'has enterd:l boys only, the entries totialliTsg I 49. Fitxherbert East has 49 entries, Stoney Creek 40, Tiritea 37..
Otaki have entered for the military drill.
