The Palmcrston Guai'ds last alight depdbd' to '.■ form a football* club arid to enter a team for the junior championship. The following officers were elected :.—President, Captain; Merrim-aii; vice-presidents, Bey. C. C. Harper, Dr. Sto\ve, Messrs Morgan, It. S. Abraham, Bell anii Devine ; delegates to Rugby Union, Lieutenant 3lcMurrayj and Volunteer Puklowski ; secretary, Lieutenant McMuvray ; treasurer,- C.olour-Sergeantt Hunt ; general committee, Corporal Blararnberg, Lance-Corporal Horn, and Volunteer Vincent ; selection committee, Sergeants Collis and Horn amd Corporal CBl-araroberg - club captain, Corporal ,C. T^orstonson ; vice-captain, Sergeant Horn. . A field captain will be elected at the ni'st match. The subscription is 3/- and the colours amber and black. Thirty members have been enrolled.- A practice will be held at the Drill Hall on Tuesday evening.;
