Wedding Bells.

A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at the Broad Street Methodist Church this afternoon, when Percival B. Torstonson, second son of Mr N. Torstonson, Foxton Line, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Agnes, third '.daughter of Mr Jas. Millar, Ferguson street. The bride, who was given away by hei<- father, looked very nice 'in a 'dress ol' cream canvas voile trimmed with, satia and honiton lace, and the orthodox veil and. orange blossoms. She-, 'fv:lso. v cari-ied a 'beautiful sli'owor bouyuet, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Miss E. Millar (attired in heliotrope voile) and Miss Annie Millar (apparelled in green voile). Both worqj black picture hats arid carried 'heliotrope shower . bouquets, with 'black velvet streamers, gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Gus. Torstonson acted as best man and Mr N. Torstonson as •groomsman ; tho officiating minister "being the Rev. T. W. IvTewfoold. The bridegroom's present to the 'bride was a gold chain and to tlie bridesmaids sliver toilet requisites and opal ring. After the ceremony tihe guests were entertained at afteiy noon tea at the residence of the bri-do's parents. ,1/be presents, which were tboth numerous and valuable.. iryiWded ' "al Wertl^im sewing- machine from Messrs Leary and Dixon and cmploj'ees, a dinner servioe and set of carvers from the Union .Timber, Sash aaid Door Company, a nd a silver tea pot and jolly dish from the Broaid Street Methodist Church choir, of which both are very valued members
