Cargoes have a strong upward tendency. The American visible supply of wheat east of the Rockies i 536,"433,000 bushels. Sugar—The markets are slow. German beet, 88deg., l£d higher, at 9s 4|d per owt; firat-mark, granulated, f.o.V. Hamburg, unchanged at 11s per cwt. Bradford Tops.—The market is very farm.. Common sixties, Jd higher at 18 5 d per lb; super sixties, unchanged at 18Jd per lb. .

Wool—At the sales wool is firm, especially fine crosabreds. The following clips have been Bold:—Somerled, -tidj'Waiau^d.
