OCCUPATION OF SHANGHAI.
London, July 26. Speaking in the House of Commons, Lord Cranborne, Parliamentary Secretary to the Foreign Office, stated that no date had been fixed. for the evacuation of Shanghai. There was no reasoD to think, he said, that the Powers concerned desired that the occupation should be permanent.
