Manawatu Fruitgrowers' Horticultural Show in Theatre Eoyal on February 21st. Tenders close to-morrow with Mr Cr. A. Scott, Ashhurst, for erection of 40 cow bails. A concert and dance will be held at the Linton Hall on Thursday next in aid of the " More Men Fund." Tenders are invited by the Sluggish River Drainage Board for 26 miles of drain clearing in 9 contracts. The funeral of the late James Morris will leave his late residence, Campbellstreet, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Harry Palmer holds a sale of household furniture and sundries at Mr Snow's f arm, Bunnythorpe, to-morrow afternoon. Gorton & Son will hold an important sale of dairy stock at Mr C. Hopping's farm, Rongotea, on Wednesday, 28th February. Tenders close with the Borough Council to-morrow for the lease of allot. 2, section 277, Rangitikei-street, containing 2 roods 20 perches. Messrs Abraham and Williams will sell at their rooms on February 24th, section No. 250, Palnierston North, containing 9 acres 2 roods. On Wednesday next Harry Palmer will hold a sale of furniture, farm tools, cows, pigs and poultry on Mr J. Barnett's premises, Boundary road,
