The appeal of 4he Midland Railway debenture-holders against a decision of the New Zealand Supreme Court which I upheld the seizure by the Government lof the line and everything connected therewith has been dismissed by the Privy Conncil. Mr H. D. Bell, of Wellington, represented the Government before the Privy Council.
