COLONEL EAGER.
Capetown, February 17. Colonel H. A. Eager, of the Second Battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles, who was desperately wounded and taken prisoner during the battle of Stormberg, has died at Burgersdorp. The Boers transferred the body of the deceased officer to the British officers at Molteno, and it was buried with military honours at Sterkstroom»
