Auckland,. February 15. The cricket match, Melbourne C.C. v. the Auckland representatives, commenced this afternoon. The visitors won the toss and went in, and displayed magnificent batting, Trunible and Miller putting on runs very rapidly. At theconclusion of the day's play, the scores were 313 for two wickets—Trumble 135, Miller 105, Graham 65 not out, Jacobs 5 not out, extras 3.

February 16. The match was resumed at noon. In the first over Graham was clean bowled by Stephenson, 315—3—67.

Graham's score included nine fours,

The score at 3 p.m. was—Victorians 4 wickets for 380 runs.
