Chkistchurch, May 14. A high north-easterly wiud blew* until the evening, when it abated, and some showers fell. No damage has been done m the town, but from the Malvern district it is reported that several chimneys, trees, <fee, were blown down. Mr White addressed his constituents at Sydenham to-night, and received a vote of cofidence. Mr White stated that he would suppoit either Sir George Grey or Mr Montgomeiy m moving a vote of no confidence m the Government.
