THE WOOL SALES.
(by electric telegraph. — copyright.) Kecter's telegrams 1 Londok, December 8. The present series of wool sales closed to-day. Prices were very firm for inferior kinds. Medium and inferior grades '" and orossbreds were slightly 'weaker. One hundred and six thousand bales were catalogued, and seventeen thousand were withdrawn. The sales closed wifch a hardening tendency m prices genorally. During the series, 150;000 bales have been sold, and 10,000 bales are held over for next sales. : .
