[Continuation of Report.] :,;, , ; . .Wood ville— -The- Committee wrote onj the subject of providing a. larger, school; the present building being intended for. twenty, .but. accommodating m reality only twelve, and those closely packed, together.-— Mr Bridge explained that the settlers had provided both site and; building^ and that, if they;. were. sold a' more convenient site could be obtained.; —The Secretary was instructed to reply! that the average attendance , musv be twenty^five before Jfche Board could pro-; vidsa. school^ and^ that, the matter could not be taken into consideration! till the amount of the building grant was ascertained . | The Woodville referred to is north of Patea. | Stratford.— Application for school; and formation of school. district between ; Ngaire and Stratford. Thirty u chiidren ; were promised.— Held over. ! Feilding. — Request for a new school building more suitable to the requirements of the district.--— Held over. Greatford.— Application- for a grant; of £5 for fencing.— Held over. I _£ohi.— Application for addition to 1 teacher's residence.-— Held over, Truant Inspector. —The Truant Inspector's report for the monfi was read. - 1 ; Ineligible Teachers,-— On the motion of the Chairman, it was resolved, That m future it is undesirable to employ more than one child m the same school as* its parent.
