He states that he examined the wreckage, which is on the beach north of Te Nama pah, and that if> consists ot portion of a vessel's deck-house, che timber of which is kauri and painted white. The wreck ot a boat buiit ot kauri, painted black, two ash oars 7 feet long,branded with broad arrows on ! the bla.ies, and one boat yard 12 feet long. .
