Mr Murray Smith, Victorian Agent General, has communicated to Lord Derby, the Secretary for the Colonies, the aadress agreed to by both Houses of the Victorian Parliament on the annexation question, and has urged compliance with the wishes of the colonies. It is rumoured that a large South Australian loan will shortly be placed int th > market.
