TEA AND PDBLLO MEETING.
There was a large gathering m the old church last «venm», where tea had been prepared. The tables were laid out with the choicest of eatables, a- d were done full justice to by those present. The building was v< j ry taste u'ly decora'ed with a variety of evergreens. After tea a public meeting was held m the new chwrch, which was well filled. Mr F. C. Dewsbnry. m tho abse cc ot Sir W. Fox. (who was unable to attend), was voted to the chair amidst loud applause. Addresses were delivered by the Keys. Williams, Worker, Rowse, and Bavin (President of the Confereoce). A choice selection of music was ably rendered during the evening by the tainted choir of the church, under Mr Hartley's leadership. The amount collected during the even* ing was £6 3s 7d.
