Sudden Death.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Nelson, March 16. A sudden death occurred at the Rising Sun Hotel on Wednesday morning. Mr Carlin Gill, a photographer, who formerly resided in Nelson, but who has latterly resided at New Plymouth, came over here about a fortnight ago, and has since then been an outpatient at the hospital. Next night he was taken seriously ill, and a medical man was called in. He, however, died next morning, and as inquest was held, the verdict being that death was caused through taking an overdose of morphia, but not with intent to take life.
