Narrow Escape.

CAUTION TO THE PUBLIC.

A very narrow from from a second serious accident occurred at the Chris fcchurch station on the arrival of one of the early evening trains on Monday last. A young lady attempted to get off one of the carriages before the train stopped. She missed her footing, and only saved herself from falling between the platform and the carriage by catching hold of the guard-rail. She |hung by one hand for some moments, when she was seized by some persons standing near, and released from her dangerous position.
