A ST HER AS by a Writ (if execution issued in VV this action and directed to me, it is ordered that of the Real and Personal Estate of the above-named John Wkatt I should cause to be made the sum of £291 19s Bd. together with interest upon the said sum at the rate of £8 for every £IOO by the year from tlie thirtieth day of April, 1872, besides costs of levying Sheriff's poundage, Officer’s fees, and all other incidental expenses of the execution : NOW I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that I shall cause to be SOLD by PUBLIC AUCIION by Mr C. J. VV. Griffiths, at Blenheim, on TUESDAY, the Twenty-ninth day of Octobik, 1872, at Two o’clock, in the afternoon, unless the said debt or sum be sooner paid, together with costs of levying Sheriff’s poundage j Officer’s fees, and all other incidental expenses of the said execution— All the Estate, Right, Title, and Interest of the said John Wkatt in and to all that Parcel of LAND, containing by admeasurement One Hundred and Fifty Two Acres and Sixteen Perches, be the same more or less, situated in the District of Wairau. West, in the Province of Marlborough, being Section numbered 82 on the Plan of the said District. AND I FURTHER GIVE NOTICE, that the Estate and Interest of the said John Wkatt in and to the said Parcel of Land consists of the EQUITY of REDEMPTION held by the said John Wkatt in the said Properties, subject to a Mortgage thereon for the amount therein specified and the interest thereon. The parcel of land hereinbefore mentioned is more particularly described and delineated on the plan thereof drawn upon the Memorial of Judgment herein registered in the Deeds Register Office for the Province of Marlborough. AND I FURTHER GIVE NOTICE, that the above mentioned Land, or the Estate and Interest of the said John Wkatt of, in, and to the same, has been taken by me in execution at the suit of the said Bank of New Zealand. TO CONTRACTORS. /MENDERS are invited for the SUPPLY and i DELIVERY, at foot of old poles, of the following number of POLES between the under, mentioned points on the Telegraph Line, from a point two miles North of the Wukamarina to a point five miles South of the City of Nelson : Section No. I.— From a point two miles North of the Wakamarina to the lleringa Bridge—--191 20-feet poles, 8 inches square at the butt, and 6 inches square at the top. Tenders to state price per pole for all heart of totara, or for any other description of timber, and time required to supply and deliver at foot of old poles. Section No. 2. —From the lleringa Bridge to the foot of Maungatapu, North side—--107 poles, 1(5 feet long, 8 inches square at butt, 6 inches square at top, sawn or squared timber. Tendersto state price per pole for all heart of totara, or for any other description of timber, and time required to supply and deliver at foot of ohl poles. Section No. 3.— From the foot of Maungatapu, North side, to a point five miles South of Nelson — 58 poles, 20 feet long, 8 inches square at butt, and 6 inches square at top, to be all heart of totara, and perfectly free from sap, bad knots, shakes or speckled timber. Tenders to state price per pole, and time required to supply and deliver at foot of old poles. Separate tenders will be received for each of the above sections, or one tender for the whole ; but in any case the tenderer must define the price per pole for each section, and also time of delivery. Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of ten pounds (£10) as a guarantee of good faith, which sum will be forfeited should any tenderer refuse to sign the contract in tiie event of his tender be accepted. Each tender must include the names of two (2) sureties for approval, who are willing to become bond for the due performance of the contract in the event of the tender being accepted, and must be accompanied by a notification to that effect signed by the proposed sureties. Further information can be obtained at the Telegraph Offices, Wellington, Nelson, and Havelock. Tenders endorsed “Tenders for the supply and delivery of Telegraph Poles for Nelson line,” and addressed “ The General Manager, New Zealand Telegraph, Wellington,” to be sent in not later than the 10th August, 1872.
