And Notice is Further Given that it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a General Rate of Is in the £ on the value of all rateable property within the Borough, as appeal's by the Valuation Roll for the time being ; that such rate shall be made for the year ending on March 31st. 1890, and shall be payable in one sum on September 25th, 18S9; that, the, particulars of the said rate have been -transcribed into a ratebook, in form and manner required by the Rating Act, 1876 ; and that such rate book is kept at the Town Clerk's oflice, Leven-street, Naseby aforesaid, and is open for inspection by all ratepayers, on any working day, between the houi's of 2 and 4 o'clock p.m. And Notice is Further Given that a Special Meeting of the Council will be held at the Town Hall, Naseby, on September 4th, ISS9, at 8.30 p.m., for the purpose of making the said rate, and that appeals against the rate-book i will be heard and considered at the J. H. SCHOEN, Town Clerk. | PUBLIC NOTICE. 1 ~ TOTICE is Hereby Given that the ! J_N Borough Council of Naseby j intends at a special meeting to be held ' on Wednesday, September 4, 1889, at ; 8.30 p.m.:—To make and levy a Water-rate on the value of that pori tion of the rateable, property within the Borough, as appears by the Valuation Roll for the time being, which is ' situate within 100 yaids from any part of the waterworks, as provided by Sections 325 and 326 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886.'* The said rate shall be for one year, | commencing on April Ist, 1889, and ' terminating on March 31st, 1890, and • shall be payable in two instalments, on j September 251 h and December 26th, I 18S9. The rate-book will be open for inspection at the Town Clerk's office, Naseby, between the hours of 2 and 4 o'clock p.m., and appeals against it will be considered by the Council on I the 4th day of September, 18S9.
