THE EXHIBITION.

We are surprised at the apathy shewn by the residents of this district in the matter of the Exhibition. Although over £IOO has been collected for the express purpose of displaying the resources of the county to the fullest possible exteiitj we regret to say that not orife single application for spade "in the Maniototo County bay has been received by the local secretary, Mr. S. E. M'Carthy. We would earnestly urge all those intending to exhibit to at once send in applications for space to the local secretary, who has to'supply'a'list of all exhibits"to the.general secretary so that thev may be included in the Exhibition" catalogue.
