The monthly meeting of the truit was held at Naseby on March 23. Preaent—Messrs Hjorring (chairman), Wood, Forrester and BwiDg. OOKKXSPONDENCE. A letter was read from Mrs J. A. The weather broke up on the 16th, but the supply of water did not increase Yery much on the lower portion ; bui on the upper portion the supply has been as much as the race will carry. Th-?re is Tery little w«ter iD the creeks till Pearce's Gjrga is reached, but there is a good supply from thor: to ihe top. It will only last a few days, unless more riin fslla. I hare had to repair the race at the Eweburn this month, with extr* labor, '.wo men for one day. The race is in good working order.— Received. treasurer's statement. The treasurer reported as under Receipts: Cash at bank, I 4i ; water gold, £lO5 16j ; gold from channel, £9B Is. Total £795 15s 41 Disbursements.—Payment of Feb account!, £lB7 4s 81 } baianoe at bank March 23, £603 10« Si. Total, £795 15s 41. PIXANCB. The following accounts were passed for payment:—Maintenance of head race, £352*; ' extra labor, head race, 16s; general, £26 13s 4d ; washing-up channel, £ll 4s ; extension of head race, £2 Ss ; maintenance of channel, £ll 13a 4d. The trust then rose.
