ARMY

Lenkin, Minister for the Interior, in a speech,, stated that Belgium should have a well-organised army capable of preventing a disaster worse than that of 1914. The alliances and military arrangements between Britain and France ought to furnish "Belgium with a means or ■ defence, but their materialisation was .-uncertain. •
