. WESTPORT, Nov.- 18. Janus Shearer, a deputy at the Stockton Mine, was killed by a fall of stone or coal, at one o'clock yesterday. He lingered till five o'clock. He was married, but had no family. A departmental inquest will be held tc-morrow.
