WELLINGTON, Sept. 28. The possibility of men from other countries coming to New Zealand and taking up the positions of men on active service was again discussed by the Second Division Conference, this morning. The Conference. decided to re-affirm the request of the League that a measure be brought dowzi providing that no person of military age be permitted to enter New Zealand to take up the positions of New Zealanders called tip for service. When the question was asked in the House Sir James Allen replied that it was not considered necessary to introduce such legislation. This reply was strongly criticised.
