Mr W. E-, Sims, of Nelson, who is gradually recovering from a serious illness, is on: a visit to Blenheim.
The late Mrs Thomas Francis, senr., whose death occurred at Kaikouralast Saturday at £Ec age of 69 years, was born in London in 1846, and arrived in Kaikoura in 1868. After re-' siding there for three years she removed to the Awatere, where she remained until abovfc four months ago, returning to Kaikoura toYlive with, her daughter (Sirs J.. $.
