HONORARY MEMBERS' CONCERT.

The programme of the concert to be given by the Tenth Mounted Regimental Band in His Majesty's Theatre on Tuesday next certainly has a distinctive note of variety, and should appeal to the popular taste. The vocalists engaged are all new to local audiences. Mrs F. C. Ferry will sing "Haste ye Birds" and "My Treasure," while Mr Bert Tasker, who has a Nelson reputation, will sing "The Trumpeter." Mr W. G. Stevenson, who has achieved success in many recent performances in Wellington, is well-known locally as being a cornet player of undoubted merit, and his items, "Nordische" and "Carnival di Venise" should be popular contributions to the programme. Miss Maisie Geary will be accompanied by the Band in her dancing efforts, while Mr E. F. Kain will render the humorous song "I'm here if I m wanted." The Band has set itself a heavy task, and will render the following selections: "Roberto ll Diavolp " "Poet and Peasant," "The Turkish Patrol," and the inspiriting march, "The King's Guard." The programme undoubtedly is a good one, and when the prices (2s and Is) are considered, a full house should greet the Band in its opening item.
