JAPAN READY TO RENEW,

WASHINGTON, June 14. The Japanese ,Minister informed the State Department' that Japan was ready to renew the arbitration agreement expiring on August Ist. The Senate is likely to offer considerable opposition^as a result of the Anti-Alien Bill dispute.

Senator Chamberlain is opposing a renewal of the United States Treaty with Britain""; or, if renewed, he contends that the Panama tolls should be removed outside the scope of arbitrable questions.
