MELBOURNE, June 13. A meeting of Cabinet discussed the situation, and at the conclusion Mr Fisher stated that they had done noiihing. He added: "Why should we? There are still a large number of votes uncounted at Hume, and there is no saying how it will affect ,the position. We cannot do anything, as the result of the elections is as yet imknown." Subsequently a meeting of the pa/rby, which Mr Fisher described as a pleasant .little gathering, welcomed the new and expressed regret at, the loss of the old members.
