MARCONI SCANDAL
THE INTERIM REPORT,
A MINORITY FINDING
[Ibess Association.] i (Received June 13, 8.20 a.m.) LONDON; June 12. The Marconi Committee's interim report has been laid on the table ot the House, and copies will be* distributed to-morrow, with draft reports by Sir Albert Spieeiy Lord; Hugh Cecil, and Messrs Falconer and Booth. It is understood that Sir Albert S'picer described Ministers' conduct as indiscreet, but not corrupt, but the influence of tho Falconer-Booth section caused an amended report to be carried by eight to six votes, which exculpates Ministers and says that the charges of undue influence are baseless, and that the contract was! made in sole regaa-d of the public interest. Lord Robert Cecil's report, in behalf ©f the minority, is very censorious. The report will be debated on Wednesday.
