HOSPITAL BAZAAR.

+ DRAWING OF THE ART UNION.

The curtain has been drawn over the Hospital Bazaar, which has to go down to history as being highly eucoessful in every connection. The closing scene took place at His Majesty's Theatre last night, when a large crowd expectantly awaited the drawing of the art union held in connection with the Bazaar. At the conclusion of an excellent pictorial programme arranged by Messrs John Fuller and Sons, Mr S. A. Edinger (secretary to the Bazaar Committee) announced that the barrel containing the tickets had been sealed under the supervision of a press representative, and he invited two gentlemen^ from the audience to draw the winning tickets.

The art union has excited Domin-ion-wide interest, tickets having been cold as far north as Whangarei and as far south as the Bluff. The prizes, which were novel, undoubtedly made for the interest in the art union.
