SACRIFICE FOR ONE'S
COUNTRY.

LONDON, June 11. At thG Australasian banquet, Lord Objelxnsford said that he was greatly impressed by the lead Australia had given the Mother Country in connection with defence. He hoped that Englishman would come to realise that everyone ouglit to sacrifice himself for his country, and do what the Australians were doing. Mr Harming, president :of the British Chamber of Commerce in Paris, referred to the penalising of Australian produce in France, compared with Argentine, especially as regards rn^at. Australia was justly entitled to most-favored nation treatment.
