NEW YORK, May 16. The Oceanic reports that one of the bodies found in a boat was. a fireman, chained by the leg to the thwart at one end of the boat. Two men were huddled at the other end, each with a cork in his mouth. The Oceanic'a doctor believes that the men chewed the corks in their delirium to eas© the craving of hunger and thirst.
