SURPRISE SERVICE TARGET MATCH.
Tho targets in this event were placed at unknown distances, and the order in which they appeared was varied. Targets were ■exposed for 40 seconds and then lowered, there being an interval of about 20 seconds between their appearances.1 Teams of ( six men were taken a point where they opened fire as if in a defensive position.
