WALKER-SOWMAN.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Church of the Nativity, oil Wednesday afternoon, when...Nora: Emily youngest daughter of Mr W. A. Sowman, "Honierville/' Blenheim, was joined in matrimony to Frank son of Mr J. Walker, Nydia Bay, Pelorus Sound. Tlie bride, who was given away by her father, was neatly attired in a pale cream tailormade cloth costume, and stylish silk pompadour hat, and carried an ivory prayer-book, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by her sister, Miss Ethel Sowman, and her tiny niece, Phydalis Ward, as bridesmaids. The Yen. Archdeacon Grace performed the ceremony, and Mr W. Patchett was best man. The guests were afterwards entertaixied .at afternoon tea at the Loloma /tea rooms. Many costly presents were received from a large number of friends. '.-■■:
