Under the Shops Act, section 19, the birthday of the reigning Sovereign is similarly transferred to 3rd June. Special days are of course not compulsory. Under awards: Where awards- specify the birthday of the] reigning Sovereign, no holiday can be enforced on the 9th November; but if awards for the 9th November, then presumably the same must .' be observed." }• "SUCROSINE" FED. !
