BLENHEIM DEFENCE RIFLE

CLUB

This club continued their plass firing this'morning. Eighteen members attended, and some very good scores (considering the nature- of the targets required by. Government regulations) resulted. W. J.. Paynter and W. H. Humphreys won the first and second class "spoon" respectively. The conditions were 5 shots rapid, 5 shots slow at 500 yds, and 5 shots slow at.... 600yds—possible 2Q for each series.

On Friday morning next the club will fire'a "spoon" match at 300 yds, the filial shoot under class-firing conditions. A large attendance of members is requested. >
