WANDERING STOCK,

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —It would be interesting to* know how our borough ranger goes about his work. The residents of Ho wick Road and Litchfield Street would be grateful if he would pay an.' occasional visit to that locality. On almost any day there is a herd 615 cattle and horses to be found grazing on the roadside^ It would not be so^ bad if the anintals confined their attentions to the grass on the road/ but the trouble is thai they reach over 1 and push through fences and crop offi everything within reach. .And while* all this goes on, the individual in' charge lies quietly smoking under1 the shade of the hedge on the roadside* And the ranger, where is he? A SUFFERER.
